Sometimes you need an expert set of eyes to see the potential of your yard. We bring trained eyes to your property to help you “see” your yard in a new light.

Through close consultation with the homeowner and careful assessment of the site, we gather the information needed to design a garden suited to your tastes and the desert environment. When we are finished, you will have a blueprint of your yard that will allow you to proceed with installation with a clear vision of your garden.

Scott Calhoun Signature CAD Xeriscape Plan

* Out of area (areas outside of Metro Tucson) charge is $90/hour for initial site consultation and $80/hour for each hour thereafter.

Personally CAD drafted by award-winning author and garden designer Scott Calhoun, the signature plan is sure to produce a bold and exciting garden that says Arizona all over it. Signature plans are primarily composed of bold plants from our American deserts mixed with a few desert-adapted exotics. After establishment, signature plan plants will require (at a maximum) only weekly irrigation in the summer months, and less frequent irrigation in the cooler months.

Scott Calhoun Signature CAD Plans include:

• Initial meeting
• Site measurements and photos
• Creation of landscape plan and including one revision**
• Client access through phone and email
• Plan review meeting
• Referrals to installers
• Site visit after completion

** Major revisions will be billed at $80/hour.

On-Site Plant Placement or Plant Identification

Scott Calhoun can visit your yard and give you sound horticultural advice. If you just inherited a new yard and want to know what is growing there and how to care for it, Scott can help. Or, if you just want to know where and what kind of shade trees to plant, Scott can help you properly select and locate the trees.
